Zaino Missing Big Boat

Peterp,

If you are seeking a product that will appear the same in terms of color hue for the life of its protection and years down the road with proper periodic paint (clearcoat) cleansing, Zaino is an excellent choice.

The discussion here plus another thread with a black BMW post-Zaino convinced me. Just ordered their show car kit plus Z3 (for ss paint) and Z8 -- or I should say tried to order -- their website doesn't take orders from NJ, so I've just emailed the distributor they recommended. I also ordered Menzerna FPII and Meguiars #34 for prep per the recipe in the BMW thread. Looking forward to trying this out.

Yeah, I started this thing forever ago and haven't seen it since about post #20...and I'm certainly not going to take the time to read the rest of them either. But look, here's the deal - if Zaino offered their products by volume purchase for some kind of discount...whether it be 50% or only 20%, they'd sell a bunch more of their stuff to top-notch professionals and serious enthusiasts...shoot, I'd bet there'd even be quite a few "jo shmos" who's buy the stuff by volume...only to never use 1/10 of it. Nevertheless, their missing out on sales, and if they don't care about it, then that's their deal (they obviously aren't starving).

It's too bad Zaino doesn't make a good polish - their ZPC is nearly worthless.

They ought to use all their $$ to "reverse engineer" the Menzerna P0106ff and offer it for a little less (I don't think there is any reason this stuff should cost so much and they get it for a lot cheaper abroad, so maybe we getting hammered with import fees).

I like Zaino products, but can not offer them to my clients for retail sales being now profit margin built in. I fine the excellarator is too small and would not mine paying for an 8oz container if it was offered.

I have Zymol products that I offer very expensive and just as intense of a DOI reflection on black. however when it comes to winter and colder climates in the country I think Zaino is the way to go. I know alot of my BMW M clients preferr Zaino to Zymol.

Maybe you just haven't learned how to use it correctly. ZPC works best with a V E R Y small amount. I use about 10 small dots on a 6.5 inch pad and work it in. It leaves a very nice finish-especially by rotary.

Someone posted that ZAIO is supposed to be offered in 16oz sizes. ZAIO, wipe off and immediately throw a coat of Z2pro on it and it just might be feasible for medium volume hi-end detailers. If your customers are willing to pay for Zymol they'd probably pay extra for longer lasting Zaino.

I wish zaino was made in bigger bottles for detailers. But that is why I charge my customers more money and it is easier to apply than most products out there.

Plus it is optically clear!:nana: :chuckle: :getdown

Click on the following threads for a few pics of after polishing with ZPC. There are a few pics where no LSPs have been applied to the paint yet.

Thanks John. My apologies as well, I just wanted to make sure that folks didn't think that ZPC was "nearly worthless". :nervous:

The charger, lots of low end torque of course and feels pretty stable thru some nice turns. Didn't want to open it up as it had less then 500 miles at the time. :xyxthumbs
