How abrasive is ZPC really? I've heard a very wide range, and this seems to come from how well it diminishes. What I want to know is how much clear coat I'm removing with respect to other polishes.
Abrasiveness is definitely influenced by he method of application, but one thing that concerns me about this polish, is that because Zaino only released one polish, it had to span a wide range.
To what extent is the abrasiveness of ZPC adjustable by changing the type of pad and/or speed when using a PC?
From posts it seems that ZPC has more defect removing capability than IP (more abrasive I suppose), yet finishes as well as FPII or PO85RD. Optimum's polish works in a similar fashion it seems.
For example, if you merely want to use ZPC to clean up the paint and not necessarily remove defects, aren't you removing more paint than necessary? Or if you used it with a finishing pad for example, would it not do much abrading and mostly become a cleanser?
From what I can tell, ZPC's abrasives diminish so quickly that perhaps the polish isn't spending a lot of time at the most abrasive stage. I have so much PO85RD and IP left that I'm not sure ZPC will be worth picking up for quite some time. Not until I need to remove swirls again at least. For now I only need really light polishes like AIO, MP, etc.
Any insights?
