zaino clay..is it q abrasive?

ive only ever used quick clay and zaino clay...ive found zaino seems to leave a haze . my finish does seem to mark very easily

just wondered if zaino clay is fairly abrasive or is it just my paint that is too easy to mark

Good question. I have used both 3M's clay, Clay Magic and Zaino's Clay. Of late, mostly Zaino Clay on my dark blue Excursion. I did not notice any makring or the like with the Z clay. Obviously, if the clay picks up debris...that will scratch. I use a mixture of Zaino car wash soap and water for my lube.

Zaino Z-18 clay is not abrasive and does not leave a haze in my experience. Use soapy water or Z-6. Seems to work like most other clays. :)

I've never had any problems with Zaino clay (used to be Erazer repackaged, may still be). One of the best out there, IMO...in terms of performance and ease of use.

If your clay is marring, you probably need more lube solution on the paint. Lack of lube or a dragging feeling of the clay across the surface could more easily marr the finish.
