Zaino Bros treatment best for new Mercedes leather seats?

I do not have a problem with creme conditioners as long as I use a plastic knife to spread the conditioner over the applicator before I apply a thin layer.

On the 1Z conditioner... let me check it out at home. I haven't used it in a while (I use Z10 on my own vehicles), let me check to make sure that it is recommended for natural leathers.

I hate to point you to another product I haven't used but I hear some very good things about Spinneybeck too. Worth checking out.

Mike,

This write-up says the Z1 is formulated for painted leather:

I would go with Connolly Hide Care if I thought I could handle the perforations, but I'm not too sure about using a plastic knife. Sounds like a lot of VERY careful work to me (not too much, slowly apply, etc.) Not really a big deal? I'm not lazy, but I cringe at the idea of cleaning perforations.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike... All I use the plastic knife for is to work the conditioner into the applicator I am using (normally a foam applicator). Once worked into the pores of the foam, the conditioner can be applied very thinly, using differing pressure on the foam applicator to increase or decrease the amount of conditioner being applied. If you are careful, your perforation will be OK.

I'll take some pics later today and show you what I mean. Ok?

OK, now I understand. No, you don't need to take the time to take photos. That makes more sense to me now. I don't believe you are doing this with Connolly Hide Care, but I don't see why that wouldn't work with it also.

Thanks!

Mike
