Zaino and many other new products on my Teg (winter trim)

Ok, I'm starting to get a little bit scared here. Sean, Scott, and Clean WS6 are all geting into the Zaino thing. What the hell is going on. Did Sal get a hold of you guys and brain wash you! :)

Nah, just figured since the opportunity presented itself, I might as well try it. Using it with AIO makes it pretty easy.

Currently though, #16 is my favorite LSP. ;)

Thanks for the comps ;)

I'm having fun and enjoying the Zaino thus far.

I'm not sure where this BS is coming from with no depth???? I guess if I Dawn washed, clayed, and Zaino'd there'd be no depth ? I think polishing correctly eliminates this assertion quite well. My red is rather deep IMO and extremely reflective.

Sean-several have said Zaino has a 'wrapped in Saran wrap' look but I didn't see it either. More of a wet glass look to me.

Scott: I agree...And as most believe here, prep is everything!

Are you contemplating topping yet? I probably won't as this bright, yet deep wet look will keep me happy for a bit :)

Topping? On my brother's van? No. I told him to continue to take care of the way he has, washing it once or twice a month and to keep my informed as to the beading, slickness and appearance. I want to see how just Zaino holds up on a vehicle that is cared for in the same way the average person does.

I go over to his house a couple times a month (mostly to see my 16-month-old niece!) so I can keep an eye on it too.

I just did mine today with EX-Px2 and #16 and I thought it looked good, but wow! Awesome work.

The dressing made all the difference on those wheels, much better now.

Looks great - What did you have holding on the body kit/spoiler? Tape/Clips?

Zaino is def. NOT bad stuff, I was impressed at the gloss when you did my GVR4. I just topped it w/ Mother's Pure Caranuba this weekend to extend it's durability even more hehe

Jon: There were bolt screws drilled through my trunk. They did a pretty substantial job of holding it all together.

I bet it look's great...Any shots of it?

I want to hear more about the flitz. I have a lot of chrome on my motorcycle that could use some easier and faster polish than mothers that goes through terries like crazy.

I just might have to pick some up.

Thanks,

Trent

Trent:

Flitz is expensive and I'd like to experiment with it more before doing a full review. I'll have to say though I've tried the Mother's polish in the red and white tin and this stuff definately leaves a higher gloss and seems as though cleans/polishes better. I'll have to order a tube first as I had 2 sample packets :)

Seems like AIO+Zaino=teh win for a quick and durable combo. Much quicker and easier to use than I expected, given some of the previous Zaino threads I had read.

I noticed a big difference when my base was AIO. A number of people were raving about this combo this summer, I finally got around to it a couple of months ago.

Great Work Sean !!! :xyxthumbs Insanely wet !

2 more shots I liked :)

Here shows how nice my exhaust looks after Flitz. BTW: Once I get more I will polish my lower tie bar.

Here is a nice full shot showing that not only depth of relfection, but depth of color can be achieved with Zaino...The difference is in the prep...

holy moly, your 'tegra looks sweet.

weird how it's the same car with the same paint, yet different LSPs can result in slightly different looks. but i think you're right in that it is all about the prep. :xyxthumbs

so is there any other LSP you have used that you can compare Zaino to appearance wise?

Hirosh-I don't want to answer for Sean but to me, the LSP that I have used that looks very similar to Zaino is EX-P, especially on silver. In fact, my first comment to my brother was "that looks a lot like EX-P" to which he replied "I have no idea what you are talking about." :lol

Sean-great pics!
