Z7? Carnuba firendly?

I've been using Z7 as my wash soap, and it seems like it's remving my wax. Is the Z7 wash compatible to use with carnubas, or it is it more designed for use with the Zaino line of sealants?

if so try less and see how that works

I won't use Z7 on top of a Nuba since Z7 is really a wash and WAX all in one car shampoo that contains Zaino's "famous Show Car Polish". Same as you won't want to use Z5 or Z6 on top of Nuba due to bonding issues.

Can you topcoat Z2 or Z5 or Opti with Nuba?

Have used Z7 without any issues in the past over Natty's blue.

Z7 is an excellent "oil" removing shampoo. It will not removed carnuaba (natural or synthetic) that still has some life left but Z7 will remove the beautifying oils that make carnuaba pleasing to the sight.

Z7 is designed to remove greasy/oily film and lay down some bonding-able protective elements to a Zaino'd vehicle. When used with other LSP's they do not bond or provide any lasting protection that may be occurring with designed "wash&wax products.

Unless, you are using Z7 over Zaino this is not such (wash/wax) a product.



Personally, I would not use Z7 over a carnuaba-type product unless I also plan to re-apply some carnuaba containing product afterwards or planning to remove any residual worn-out carnuaba to set the stage for a subsequent application of Zaino.
