Z2Pro - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Welcome to TID! Yes, Blackfire is for real. I'm not the kind of person who tries every new product on the market every month. That's what I call the "Flavor of the Month" mentality.

I have used Zaino for 10 years and love the stuff. I received a sample of Blackfire Wet Diamond and, as stubborn as I am, I really do like it. Easy application and removal, super slick and shiny.

I plan to buy more. Now I'm a two-product guy.

Flavor flave

That's exactly what I want to avoid Bill. I want to start using a ploymer instead of carnuba (for longer term protection) It is really able to take a wax on top. Also what's the best wat to get rid of the, well other stuff< that's already on there?

The method I use for removing old wax is to wash with Dawn Dishwashing soap. Really lather it up. (Funny... when the neighbors wash their cars, that's what they always use!!!!)

Yes, sealants can accept wax over them. Zaino doesn't have a wax product. The Blackfire combo that many people like is Blackfire Wet Diamond (sealant) topped by Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnuba Wax.

They call it "Wet-Ice over Fire". I don't typically use carnuba wax... I'm a sealant guy, but the results I've seen from others are quite amazing.

With these products you won't be waxing monthly!

I am DEFINITELY not a hype follower kind of guy (hence my prior resistance to anything Zaino), although I ultimately bit the bullet on the advice of two detailers whom I respect a whole lot (Tim Lingor and David Strum).

Having said that, Wet Diamond is NOT a hype product IMHO. It is the real deal. Right now, the jury is still out on Zaino. I can't say I "love" it right out of the box, nor can I say I dislike it. There are parts I love and parts not so much. Time will tell. As for Wet Diamond... I fell in love with it almost instantly.

Although I can't really testify as to its durability as I am a "wax every six weeks" kind of guy.

WOW, wax every 6 weeks?
In the last week alone, i have applied 2 coats of Wet Diamond, 3 coats of Z2, 6 coats of Z5 and 5 coats of DoDo Juice Supernatural. And thats not to mention all the Z8 and Z6 Wipe Downs.
I gotta take a photo of my feet, yes i said my feet, i've been out so long in the sun, my feet are tanned where my wet shoes have openings.

And this is all on my vehicles, no one elses.
I love detailing and its just a hobby for me.

Z + E=mc2 plus z8 wow. I joined this TID because of blackfire stuff. i saw in online and had to check out if it for real. My cars are relatively new 07 Red jewel outlook and 03 white town car. Honestly I have been using Meguiars 07 and Gold class products. I like them, just not every month. They are not garaged so I like to keep them waxed up. Is this stuff for real I would LOVE to stop buying bottles and trying stuff, by the way surf city garage, a thumbs down on longevity.:driving:

Welcome Aboard g8tors09, this forum has alot of great folks willing to help and also joke around............
