Z2pro on dark finishes?

I recently got my Zaino shipment and only ordered Z2pro thinking it would look great on both light and dark colored cars. But im hearing that Z5pro is best to use on dark cars to bring out depth and shine and Z2 is best on light color cars. Im still waiting for my huge AG shipment which has got all my pads and Flex and eveything else I need so I cant start detailing without it. But should I have gotten Z5pro also for dark cars? So far I have Z7, Z-AIO, Z2pro, Z-CS and Z8(SIP and 106 are comming from AG) for the best finish on a dark car should I buy Z5 also?

Z2p looks awesome on dark colors too, espacially when topped with CS/Z8. You won't be dissapointed.

When you get the Z5p give it a try as it does look a little better on "some" dark color cars. I use Z5p on my black Z06 but Z2p on my Sapphire GTS which is so dark it actually looks like black in some lighting.

I think the Z5 on darks is simply a preference, it all depends on your taste and what fits your eyeball. I think Z2 looks great on black for instance, but thats me. I still reach for Z2 most of the time. While I don't do alot of detailing for money, when I help friends and such, most love the zing bling that Z2 gives.

Z2Pro is a wetter looking polish, but I really think the best deepest look is a coat of both. No reason for multiple coats either in my opinion.

I agree a coat of both is the ultimate.

You really can't go wrong and unless you have extensive experience with both Z5 and Z2 Pro or using them side-by-side, the differences are minute.

If it were me, I like the ease of use of Z5 Pro a bit better, but Z2 Pro definitely has that extra element of gloss. Like I said though, my eyes, nobody elses :).

Thats exactly what I want it to look like. My brother has a 330xi in black and its all swirled up and needs some work. Hopefully after the clay, SIP, 106, Z-AIO and Z2(+Z5) some CS and Z8 the car will look wet and shiney.

Z2Pro is superb stuff and like others have said you can't go wrong with it. I personally like Z2Pro on lights and Z5Pro on darks. That's just my preference and may differ from others. After trying the Z2Pro for a bit you might want to try Z5Pro and try that as well. that way you'll know what YOU like.

That's 2 coats of Z2 Pro.

It was also washed after being polished with a GS and that *stupid soft* paint wasn't marred at all during that wash.:)

Have used both Z2Pro and Z5Pro on my black Z, but the clear seal rocks on dark colors as well, followed by a shot of Z8 grand finale spray, very deep/wet shine.

I can't see enough of a difference between the two to have a preference. :nixweiss

Same here. I just seem to like Z5. Its seems like its a bit easier to use, plus it has some minor filling properties.

I'll be detailing a white Escalade, Silver Benz SL, Baby blue Range and a black BMW within the next month so I'll see how I like my Zaino setup. Same process on all of them

Z7 foamgun

Pinnacle clay

SIP

106ff

Z-AIO

Z2pro

ZCS

Z8

Curious to know what Zaino stuff to use on interior wood? Im thinking a Z8 wipedown would look nice. And for exhaust tips im going to use Z-AIO. Also thinking about applying Z-CS over p21s on the wheels, is it worth it?
