Z2 Pro/ZFX question

I know that Zaino says to use the mixture ( Z2 Pro and Zfx ) within 6 hours ( optimal ) or 12 hours maximum of mixing, but has anyone used it at a longer time interval? Results?

Never had to. I always mix just enough for a couple of coats.

Follow the directions to the letter, its 6 hours /12 maximum

for a reason. ZFX is a drying agent.

aldive .. I haven't used Z2 with ZFX much beyond 10 hours, but I can tell you that on the occasions I did not clean the mixing bottle and left it overnight, the Z2 sealant cured and dried in the bottle making it VERY difficult to clean. I can't imagine using Z2 with ZFX in this dried state.

I throw the bottles away after use. Too much trouble cleaning them. I never have tried to use Z2/ZFX after 12 hours. I never mix enough to do the car more than once. The bottles are easily obtainable as well as cheap enough to be disposable. If you squirt a small amount of QD into the bottle when almost empty and shake it, you can get almost all the Z2 out in a usable form.

Haven't tried it, but I've seen it "cake" up in the bottle after a half a day. I've thrown out a few of those bottles it comes with because they're not worth cleaning. These days I use syringes (which I also throw out after each use).

I've always had it dry out hard as concrete in that scenario.... so you literally CANT use it.
