Z2 Pro vs regular Z2: Anybody else...

66 i kinda know where your coming from using a product and knowing that it does work, but you just cant get it right. I had the same problems with Meguiars polishes but just keep on tryin.

As for everyone else that thinks hes bitching why do you guys keep posting and making things worse! If you know your replies are going to start an argument i dont see why you post to begin with. If this guys wants to complain about Zaino let him. I dont see anyone else posting smart a$$ remarks about people who complain about durability/shine issues with other products.

OOH but for ZAINO its ok. This Forum is starting to be like to be like all others!

You must have missed the entire NXT train wreck.

But that's NXT, so it must be ok.

There's a difference between complaining and grinding an axe like he was obviously doing. It should have been pointed out he is continually making several claims that don't add up. One complaint or two I get, many many different claims month after month, give me a break.

And Fbody, I didn't take your comment as an attack at all, you are right 100%. I was just clarifying that I and many people here are mainly looking for wet and deep as opposed to maximum durabilty, peace Q

:bounce Maybe the prep work wasnt done satisfactorily, or some other problem is going on. I KNOW there is a difference between Z2 and the pro. But this is a discussion, so maybe we should be looking to find some process difference that doesnt allow the Z2 Pro to shine through. Let's try to discover the root of the problem.

I defend some products due to thier quality and resent the entire line about a Zaino Cult. I give credit to that which earns it and will not stop due to resentment of the statement of truth. :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

I've only used the Z2 Pro, so I can't make a comparison to the original but I found it easy to use, spread and remove and I was pleasantly suprised by how wet it looked. I expected it to be reflective but it also looks wet. 7 weeks now on my brother's van, lots of rain and tunnel car washes and as of tonight, it still looks really good and is reasonably slick. Not like it originally was but for going through a tunnel car wash this afternoon and no QD since application, I was suprised there was as much slickness as there was.

If you aren't getting the results you want, move on to something else. NXT topped with #16 or AIO + Wolfgang may work better for you.

Those were some ugly threads!

I don't think there is a product regularly used on Autopia that at least a few people don't like.

So true. :(

I feel the majority of us really have not found a product or line of products that is complete junk. Some of these products may not be to our preferences, meet our needs or expectations. But most settle into some detailing niche we can use them and write off the cost to the joy of being Autopians. :xyxthumbs

By the same token, I have yet to find a single product line that satisfies all my detailing needs.
