Z-PC, then what

I have been using Zaino PC lately and am pretty happy with the results. The only problem is I wonder if I need to do anything between the Z-PC and the LSP? Does anyone up here use the Z-PC? ANd if so do you step down to another product before the LSP? I have the Danase pure polish I could use. What do you guys suggest? I am using a PC with 4 inch orange edge pads. I also have the six inch versions of blue and white pads. I like the Zaino system but would like to get things looking good under it. The Z-PC has been removing about 90-95 % of the swirls, should I just go over it a second time? Still new at this appreciate any help.

Do you have Z-AIO? If so, you could follow up the Z-PC with the AIO using the PC and the white pad. Then follow the AIO with your LSP.

If not, you could just do an IPA wipedown (50/50 isopropyl alcohol/water), then follow with your LSP.

I have no issues finishing with ZPC and a white or even green CCS pad on the PC. An orange pad will leave too much haze to be your final step.

So just hit the car with a second round of Z-PC with the white pad and then Z-5? What speed should I use? Is the pure polish by danase a waste of money? It was a gift so.........But if it is a good product I want to work it in.

In my opinion, pretty much all polishes and compounds should be worked at 5-6 by PC. Also, pads with little to no cut like gray, blue, and red require higher speeds and longer work time to fully break down the polish since there is less mechanical abrasion from the bad. I would follow up with Z-PC on a white pad at speed 6 to ensure a good finish.

Let me also say that I have never used Z-PC specifically.

You can (should) go straight from Z-PC to Zaino. That is the advanatge of using Z-PC. Personally, I don't like Z-PC, so I prefer to use an alternative polish and then rewashing the car/doing a wipedown.

Try finishing using a softer pad, wipe clean, and you can go straight to Zaino.

I think ZPC works best by LC white ccs or Megs yellow pads. Softer pads tend not to work as well for me by PC. ZPC on a black pad and rotary works great.

I agree completely with the PC comments. Softer pads on the DA make a mess of the finish with softer than polishing pads.
