The wing on the STi is that tall because it serves a function other than aesthetics. For the part to do its job, it has to be tall enough to catch the air flow coming off the roof . . . form follows function, and you end up with a big-a$$ wing on the trunk.Setec Astronomy said:Yeah, I don't get those big WRX etc. wings either.

Matt M said:And for the record, on Superbirds and Daytonas, you could not open the trunk all the way, like their Road Runner and Charger counterparts. There are stops welded into the mechanism to stop their travel. (I restored two Superbirds)
