Your winter protection

DD- 1 coat BFWD followed by 2 coats Colli 845. Will hit with DG Aquawax after washings. Maybe next year I will try coatings.

08 ISF - CarPro Reload with OCW once a month and weekly visit to local coin wash

Purchased it last month and will be protected with Opti-gloss next spring with a good polish :)

Clayed with nanoskin autoscrub sponge and diluted ONR.

Took out the worst scratches with ultimate compound and did the whole car with Klasse AIO and Klasse SG. Next spring, I'll hopefully have my hands on some M101 foam cut compound and I'll get down to removing the swirls out of the whole car. Only had time to do the roof and hood last summer.

Rims got the klasse twins and I really like the results. Tyres dressed with duragloss.

I polished the tailpipe with mothers but I wonder if I can coat it with the klasse?

Paint: Sonax Polymer Net Shield

Wheels: Undecided ... I have Rejex and Ultima Paint Guard Plus on hand. I'll go with the UPGP if I don't get something better, and because of it's WOWA ease of application.

Prep with Menzerna SF4000 then SF4500, protected with Power Lock. This is the first I've used Power Lock hopefully it will be a durable as many of the reviews describe.

Here in WV, my tundra gets 2 coats of Poorboys sealant and aquawax after each wash. Has gotten the truck through a bunch of winters. And this winter i have DP wheel coating on the wheels. Hoping by next winter to be fully protected with coatings throughout.

For my Silverado I have 1 coat of Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant and 1 coat of Adams quick sealant on top of that for paint. Maintenance will be with UWW+ (rinseless washes) with occasional Sonus Acrylic Glanz wipedowns. Glass and wheels have DP coatings, SS exhaust tip has Cquartz, rear wheel wells have Hydro2 and front wheel wells have a layer of UTTG+. Tires have Tuf Shine.

I'm envious of all you fellows in the southern states where the sun never stops shining. Here north of the 49th, the DD is getting a couple of layers of Menzerna Powerlock. That'll protect the car until the ice breaks up and the arctic char return to the rivers once more.
