Your "nope" moment

someone asked me to pick up dog puke, piss, and general 10 year old car mess from a Toyota camry...sure, 1000-1500 was my estimate.  person asked why so much.  I replied with something like "its going to take replacing the carpet, de-odorizing, and lots of manual labor to get that job done.  figuring about 300 for the carpet replacement, the 10 hours to clean and install new carpet kit, and supply cost...1000 would be lowest.

I said, it would be worth 7k after I am done with it!

No Dice!

Amazing stories.

Every time I read one, I think it's the worst I've ever heard, then you fellows post another one and I think that's the worst I've ever heard.

Now, listening to your 'Nope' moments, mine pales in comparison.  Absolutely pales.

My 'Nope' moment came when a buddy drove up my driveway in a Yugo.

OK, quit laughing.

I generally never get bad interiors. Sometimes they are rough, covered in coffee, but never piss or puke (knock on wood).

But I do get corrections like this a lot:

Take it to a car wash, tell them the interior needs cleaning. But don't tell them about the mess. Let them figure it out once they get into the job.

Hahaha, nice Scott. I would've loved to hear the outcome on that one

swirls like that are an everyday thing for me!  That's a solid 3 step to close to perfect, 4 steps to 99% (nothing is ever 100%)

That's not a 'nope' car. That's a 'welp, let's get on it' car. :D
