Your Most Use Final Polish

AMG Classic Car Detailing
OK Everyone, We all have seen in these past few years how polishes have improve and some got no use at all for polishing. So what is the most reach for polish you got or use for that final stage of polishing? Before your put any LSP.

PO85RD

However, SIP leaves a finish close to LSP ready.

Love them both. I haven't mastered M105/205 via machine. Mezerna works much easier for me. I do use the Meg polishes by hand for touch ups.

I have Menzerna Final Polish II, it works nice. I have just ordered the M205 so we will see how that turns out next detail.

I ordered M205 for 17.88 through Amazon back in early March. I'm still waiting for it to come. They sent me an email letting me know that there's been a delay and that it won't ship until late May or early June.
Good thing I'm not in a hurry, or I'd be :mad::mad:

Say, FP II & PO85RD should work great after M105 or Ultimate Compound, shouldn't it?

I heard that some people have received two e-mails claiming a delay. I gave up and bought if for the normal retail price.

106 FA - Final Finish Polish / Super Finish, but I would like to try the new (insert sarcastic grin) non-diminishing polishes like M205

On harder paint that was compounded with M105/orange pad, I finish with M205/white pad. On softer paint I prefer to finish with UF/grey pad after using M205/white or green pad to take care of the marring.

Menzerna FP II, but I have been working on my truck using M205/Orange, and its simply amazing.

FP II works better on my wifes Jeep for some reason, maybe its a Daimler thing.

I purchased a bottle of Ultrafine (fina) and man, I love it. Not near the cut of 205 but it sharpens the reflections and definition. Their is a long work time, which is perfect for jeweling.

So now it's #105, #205, and Ultrafine. It's ok, they are all owned by 3M!

Blackfire Scratch Resistent Clear Clear Finishing Polish (AKA 106FF) on a white CCS pad on the PC, IPA wipe, then Optimum's Poli-Seal or ZAIO on another white CCS pad on the PC (then LSP obviously). This is my process for ~90% of the cars I correct.

Every once in a while when the prior step wasn't too agressive I will use FPII on a white CCS pad, followed by Poli-Seal or ZAIO on another white pad.

Either process cleans up any *mild* holograms/micromarring from the prior corrective steps, and leaves me with an awesome finish every time.
