We love the feedback so we would like to hear what your favorite promotion is that we have run, and or your favorite giveaway...
Looking for something fun to do in the month of July so we would like a little input from our favorite people!

Even though it ended up being pretty confusing, I'd have to say the code hunt on Blackfirewax.com was a lot of fun. Running something like that again with clear rules and fun prizes is something I'd look forward to.

Do you mind stating what you think would have made that clearer, as we enjoyed that too and felt it was straight forward. I would like to know how to make it easier for others to understand...
 
I started this a long time ago with my company, so here goes....A Bucket sale that you have to fit the products you want in a bucket and get 20-25%. I do 35% at my place.:D

I would suggest a monthly Kahuna with smaller values prizes. It would have similar rules such as needing to sign up and then count posts and orders.

For sales, flat rate options in addition to minimums for free shipping along with discounts.
 
Code game was cool but I also was to late and I am on here every day and didnt see it till to late. maybe code game but 1 code per day or every other day over a week or 2 weeks would generate more web traffic for you over longer period, and give more people more chances. randomized time for adding the new code for the 2 day period.
 
Favorite Promo is AFR will pay for Todd to come to my home, hang out and use some the products I purchased from you. Add to the Lunch Dinner thread, Post results online.

Will pick up Todd and company from Airport! :)
 
Shipping rates are ridiculous and based on amount purchased versus weight. I buy just about all my detailing products from places based on shipping weight. One such place has free shipping on anything under 5 pounds and over $25. Think about that when buying buffing pads and light weight products.

My favorite give away is the one where Meghan sends that big pot of Skull Candy pot# 000(I believe) to Dr Oldz because she already has the skull.




Seriously tho. The ones where you just have to reply aren't so fun. Giveaways requiring interaction are way cooler. Even if it's something like posting a link to your favorite wash mitt for example. Or posting a pic of your favorite PBMG product in action.

Oh sure, happy to. I believe most of the confusion came from how to use the codes once found. So starting from there:

  1. In order to play you must have a Autopia Car Care account.
  2. Players are only allowed to claim 1 code per ACC account (in order to keep things fair).
  3. Once a code is found, it needs to be checked in a code unlock page set up for the contest. Like how the "where's my stuff" feature works on ACC. Type in the code and your email address to stake your claim.
The key being, first person who finds a code knows immediately if it's been claimed or not. If not, it's their's to keep.

I'd also suggest:
  • Have the codes worth various dollar amounts ($50, $100, $150, $200) and/or awesome prizes: free Flex! Rupes! Tub of Synergy! Füzion! Souveran! Etc
  • The first person to find a code can decide to "claim" or "release it" back into the game for others to find in hopes they can score an even bigger prize (eg buying concert tickets online - will you get lucky and score pit tickets by give up row XYZ by searching again?)
  • All codes claimed receive free shipping regardless of value.
  • Really hide the codes. In product reviews, FAQS, source code, ACC's Facebook page. The higher the value the harder it should be to find!!

Whatever it takes for me to recieve all the products I dream about for next to nothing :rockon . Seriously though 20% or more with no exclusions and free shipping would probably get me to spend too much that is if the better half agrees since she is the more sensible one.
 
I like the simple contests like the current give away for the poorboys signed wax. no need to search for hidden numbers, no need to make as many bs posts as possible.
would love to see some type of revamped or flat rate shipping.
 
Fridays only free shipping no min, would be great.
All the giveaways are great. This month? Mid summer. Do a gallon of car wash giveaway. Winner picks.
