Your favorite combo on Dark metallic blue?

Carnaubas attract a lot of dust!!! I try to stray away from them as much as possible, but some times seeing that can of #16 or Souveran sitting there is really tempting. Oh well... with products like Z8 out, I don't have a need for carnaubas anymore, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them or that they don't look good.

IMO sealants are a better choice for daily drivers

Use a sealant then top with carnuaba! That what my plans are. For the summer I will build up 3-4 layers of Z2PRO and more then likely (not definetely) I will top using Souveran until the fall comes. Then strip everything down and build up Zaino layers for the winter.

If you wanna listen to scottwax, NXT seems to work well with this particular color (look at my sig). 2-3 layers and you've definitely got something good. Top with #16 for extra durability, wet-look and water beading action.

Some alternatives I really like are WG and UPP. More layers the better.

right on, thanks alot guys. im still drooling over that caddy, god i love that color. I definitely need to stock up on more supplies for the summer, Im thinking sealant + carnuba over summer and then redo it when the weather starts to turn and get a nice sealant layer on there. When I have my stuff back at my fingertips I'll be washing/cleaning the truck at least 2-4 times a week, whatever it takes to get that shine.

Okay.....instead of the Souveran, try the Meg's #26 & the P21S.

Yeah, so do I. I've got Souveran, LS, P21S, a stash of #16, Clearkote's Carnauba Wax and Glanz Wax sitting in my garage...I also have S100 which, I gotta be honest, I don't know where it came from. I know I bought it, I just don't remember when or why.
