Your daily detailing ritual.......

absolutely nothing....lol

i dont have the time to spend on my truck and when i can, I cant due to weather, not enough time, or laziness....plus autopia and the internet take what free time I do have...

but once a month it gets a fresh coat of a carnuba, every 6 months polished up, and once a year deep polished....the truck is 2 years old and I have never done the interior like I should....this spring its finally getting done!!!

Hehe, Eric you cant use the weather card, it doesnt work here in So Cal. Shall we tell all the other Autop's its goin to be 80 on Friday?

haha I know, I know, but when I want to detail, its forecasted for rain in the next day or two...at least thats the way it was last year this time....where is the rain at anyway???

I am definitely going to enjoy the 80+ tomorrow...maybe hit up the beach all day...then work at night, then wake up for a detail on saturday, finish and go have dinner with a lady friend at a nice seafood place...MMMMM!!!!

LOL, why do they hate you?

That's one that I may have to turn to confucious for. I truly do not know, hell, I don't even think they do. :LOLOL

I've been told by one of the few friends from her school that I do have, that it's because of my gf, my car, and my money.

When we first started dating I was driving a 98 Avus Blua Metallic BMW 323is, highly modified by yours truly, loud, fast, low and CLEAN 24/7. Many 'envied' it according to my friend, and leaving I'd make as much noise as possible, just because it was fun. :getdown

Now I have an 02 IS300 with light modifications, but still low and loud, always clean again.

I guess I just get attention from the cars, the guys want my GF and she gets to spend my money, it must get under their skin or something. I don't know why they hate me, I literally drop her off every morning, and pick her up a maximum of 2 times a week.

WOW, was today a hot day...no surf, but I had a detail instead...its sitting on the showroom floor at the autocrave event at pomona....i was stoked on the outcome only having 4 hours to 6 step it...but I got it 90% with two polish, two glaze, two wax, light interior clean up! Pics to ensue....

plans changed and now i have the detail tomorrow (in 7 hours) and go to the car show tomorrow night instead...the girl can wait...lol

Good luck at the show, and take some "pics" !

Making the girl wait are ya? Well have to wait and see how that shapes up!

Edit: Dang Eric, I dont know about you, but its HOWLING here! Im talking whistling wind. I have a detail in North Hollyweird this morning, I hope it is not like this, there!

Todas freshly updated forecast:

WIND GUSTS COULD LOCALLY REACH 60 MPH IN THE WINDIEST LOCATIONS IN

THE MOUNTAINS...WHILE GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE IN THE

VALLEYS AND COASTAL SECTIONS WITHIN THE ADVISORY. THE STRONGEST

WINDS WILL OCCUR THROUGH AND BELOW PASSES AND CANYONS.

Great detailing weather eh?

SUCKED today!!! i had that nissan detail and right after I would wipe up and go to my truck to get a different product, there would be dust all over the car....I finally gave up on it and detailed as if there was no dust, just wiping the section before polishing...

but I heard the surf was really clean this morning at bolsa chica, but a little small...I plan on paddling out tomorrow and monday if possible....hopefully the winds hold up because its typical summer beach weather in winter right now!!!!

oh and thanks for the one grand glaze...I love that stuff and its my new go to glaze! Once my megs 21 runs out, I am going to try the UPP, but I have about 58oz of 21 left, so it might be a year or so...lol

i bodyboard....never really tried standing up...well, longboard, but not short board...longboard in WAIKIKI HI...that was REALLY easy!!! LOL

your right about the surf, and that is what I am hoping will be around tomorrow...

Ahh, kneeboard here.......But raising 3 kids, marriage, mortgage, detailing, e-commerce...need I say more? But I did manage to buy a travel trailer a few years ago for the exculsive beach trips/weekends.....

Bodyboarding is the ****! I've got a beach house here in Maryland, waves aren't the greatest, but really... If you learn how to do stuff on small waves, your generally alot better on the larger waves; me and my buddy proved that correct when we went to Hawaii two years ago. :werd:

I can't surf anymore, as my knee and back problems have destroyed my 'pop' :sadwavey:
