your company truck

I would gladly participate in this thread, but for some strange reason I'm one of the few not allowed to post anything with a logo or URL and subsequently pictures of my work van. Just got new vinyl on it a few weeks ago too, that's 11ty times better than what's in my avatar.

What kind of truck and what size trailer do you use, LS1-MEX?

You're not allowed to post anything with your logo or URL ? I understand the signature line rule, but you can't post in a thread either ?

Hmm that doesn't make sense.. Barry posts his logo at the top of his threads all the time? :hmph:

To keep this on topic, I don't have a truck(yet) but I have two magnets and two A-frame signs that I put out on mobile jobs...

I never have any links or phone numbers nor do I have any .com's in my logo. It just a name and motto. There are ways to follow the rules properly. Your not allowed contact's in a signature.

It will be a few days (at least) before I can get decent pictures of my truck here, but I have a 1989 toyota sr5 extend cab pickup. It needs quite a bit of love. The paint is in pretty rough shape, and there is rust to be fixed on the bed. I might buff and polish only one side of the hood and do a pinstripe down the middle.

I can fit my compressor, generator, pressure washer, shop vac, and buckets in the bed. Chemicals and other supplies locked in the bed box. And a hot rod extractor in the cab. (where it is safe, and I can love it and pet it and call it George.)

Still working out some of the details though. Clean and dirty mf's. Should I get cloth bags for them? or go with plastic containers? Should I run a faucet out the side of the bed for low pressure water? Maybe pipe my compressor hose out the side too just for kicks. Although funny, this idea may be too limiting.

I am looking into getting a 8" tall water tank and a small pump to go under the bed box. I think I will bolt a set of floor mat hangers to the tailgate just for kicks (and to make people ask questions).

Hey wow man never even knew that you were from metropolitan detail. Pretty neat to have each loaner with a different color flame on it. Must be a bit of a job to keep those black loaners clean exterior wise.

Nice stuff though . . . . . . . i also see you guys got a dyno jet or is that a performance shop or something next to you?

here is a concept i did of mine. Its a black magnet with white/pink vinyl for the doors, and the website is mirrored acrylic lettering for some bling.

For the final i put the phone # under the logo. so it would all be 1 magnet. I haven't installed it yet b/c i haven't had time to polish the truck up.

Here is the whole rig...gotta love black!

Thank you, it's not an easy task, but they all get washed about every other day.

The Dynojet is at the tuner shop next door to us.
