You Want Slick?

I usually treat the glass like the paint. Clay, polish, and protect.

The results have been excellent! It works great for bugs in the summer and also for the winter snow and ice.

Raining right now... I just came in from driving it. As clear as a bell. No streaks, no smears! (No runs no drips no errors!)

I think it's better than RainX.

Do you think I would get the same results with the BF Spray Sealant?

No issues with the wipers?

Mike

None. No hazing or streaking. No chatter. They work perfectly and glide across the surface of the glass as they should.

I haven't tried that, but my guess is that BF SS would not last as long. No proof of that though.

I will say this. From this point on, I will always use BFWD on the glass.

Greased watermelon in a swimming pool? That sounds nice...I've been using Klasse AIO on windows for years and love it...not the most durable, but it's there for 2-3 months...beads water like crazy, and sheets it right off...

I already mentioned the QD, and I tried wax, but it made such a mess... Then I realized my heater core was bad and my windshield was such a mess for other reasons. I may have to put wax on the windows again!

I just tried the BF Spray Sealant. I will let you know about the durability.

So it is now the day after I tried the BF Spray Sealant on my windows, and it rained today, so I was able to see about how the Spray Sealant worked. First of all, the rain was beeding on the windows like crazy. When I started driving, the rain just rolled up and off the window like my car was getting blown dry at a car wash. I will let you know about durability.

Thanks for the update Barry.

I have an update also. On the car that I used BFWD on the windshield, the ice was extremely easy to scrape off. On the other car, without BFWD on the windshield, the ice was stuck like glue!!!

I've been using sealants on glass for a while now.
I does work great. When raining, the water just beads right off as you drive.
It doesn't last as long as it would last on the paint finish, so you still need to apply some once a month or so.
Of course all of this depends on how often it rains as the wiper blades eventually will strip the sealant off

As easy as sealant is to apply, I won't mind applying it monthly...:) It only takes a few minutes to apply and remove!:Dancing Dot:
