This is a reply to a post about waxing for winter:

I detail cars for a living at a dealer ship. If you are going to wax your car I would clay bar it 1st, if not find something like Meguiars deep gloss wax it comes in a black jar. Wax is wax thou, as long as you have carnuba, and make sure you apply at least 2 coats.

The range of standards among those that "detail for a living" is nuts. :brick

I've used Meguiars Deep Gloss Wax (the one in the Black Jar) a couple of times on my Ferrari and Porche's......that is, when the Lambo's in the shop.
