You guys were right about WalMart MF's

I did!! I did!!! good service and prompt delievery. He has shipped to Canada number of times before and he knows how to deal with the taxes.

I'm very happy with my purchases and I will buy some more once he starts carrying the waffle weaves.

I should compare my JT Internationals with your Pakshaks sometime. Mine are excellent too but the stitching on the Ultrafine towels is fraying a bit after a few washes. I may have to get some Pakshaks also if he starts to carry waffle-weave. I may need smaller ones than my 24x46 JT waffle-weave as I want to use them when I get some QEW.

I live 5 mins away from the border so it isn't a problem for me to just make a run to WalMart in the US. It's a 10 minute drive from home.:D
Oooooh.... (clutches heart, gasping) that's a dirty trick! :p Note to self: don't get so excited next time Nagchampa discovers something new! ;)

I'd like to note one thing about doing impromptu in-store CD Testing though. I don't like to do this because you can't really control how clean the MF towel is. I mean, the towel could've been dropped on the floor or picked up fibers from the sides of the cardboard box, etc, etc. I like to test them once I get them home and have washed them out first.

If by attack you mean earlier in this post, I was appalled by the statements to the effect,"I thought I heard they scratched" or "I thought we determined they were the same as the poor quality ones with a different packaging". As near as I can tell, these were unfounded "thoughts". If anyone DARED to say the same thing about a preferred supplier, all #@$%^ would break loose. What if I said "I thought I read a survey that Fords were the worst cars made in America" (I happen to own 2, by the way) or "Didn't we determines that Zymol causes the paint to peel?" I would expect to be challenged on such statements and, should further research prove me wrong, I would admit it (and, yes, I can point to an occasion where I misread and misquoted something and later retracted it). I expect the same from others. Obviously, my methods here are too abrupt for this audience and I will soften it in the future.
In all honesty Prowler, these kinds of questions and comments come up all the time. Yes, in some cases they should have either searched or read about the subject better, but there's a right way and there's a wrong way to tell them so. To me, the way you approached this seemed... less "right".

I've been using these MF towels for about a year and a half now. They are excellent quality! They are kinda small but I just put about three of them together for extra padding. No scratches, however they do leave a little lint behind. After repeated use this is no longer a problem. When they get dirty, I wash them with Oxi clean. Works really well. Be sure to wash them by themselves because the microfiber's knit is like minature hooks that trap lint like crazy. Best bang for your buck without a doubt!:up

I didn't mean to cause a disruption on the forums, as this is a very friendly place because it has a small and tight-nit user base, where we all share the same passion, regardless what car we drive.

After all, it turns out I wasn't completely incorrect because some people mentioned in here that their towels did scratch the CD they tested on.

I mean geeze, it sounded like I was back on Vortex again. Sheesh. :p :D
