Yes, I like to keep my engine clean.

Not a trophy car... I drive it 4-5 times a week.

Very NICE!, I know i read it before, but whats your process/products of choice?

First, I will cover the alternator with a plastic bag. For all areas, I just spray a liberal amount of All Purpose Cleaner diluted 1:10 with water, on the entire engine bay. For the cracks and crevices, I will agitate with a paint brush, then rinse the entire engine compartment with a GENTLE stream of water. I NEVER use a high pressure hose or pressure washer in the engine bay.

Then I "blow dry" with a leaf blower, wipe with a microfiber and spray the plastic and rubber parts with Trim Shine.

Finally, I go back and QD the painted engine parts with Z6.

I usually do this monthly with Z6 wipedowns (weekly) in between.

Nice work, Luster! This is a pic of my Evo. The car is driven almost every day, but stored when the roads are salted in the winter. The engine bay is maintained by being wiped down after every wash with a booster product. I seal the paint under the hood a few times a year with 1000P Hi-Temp and use Sonus Motor Kote on the other surfaces. I shoot for the "just as delivered" factory look.

I love having a clean engine bay, to me it just screams "pride of ownership".

I fully degreased mine twoish months ago, since then I have just been wiping it down thoroughly with ONR at about every wash. Still looks freshly detailed!

Thanks, guys... I really like the "all-black" theme. Since I purchased the black plenum cover and Fuel Rail covers aftermarket, I still have the original FRC's so I can go back to completely stock in about 10 minutes to change the look!:)
