Yellow Z06 383ci Track Beast

Once again...incredible. I know that car was not in the greatest shape when you started (come on, it's actually driven unlike some other cars) so that is really something to see how far you were able to take it. You do good work. Sometime I may let you detail my golf cart.

What about one of the murrays? :idea

C6R sticker on a C5?

That's a nice car, but right now if I owned a C5 I would be trading it in. The C6 is just so dead on in the looks department.

Like I said in an earlier post he is a fan off, not a wanna be of the C6R. I myself still prefer the looks of the C5R.

Thats because you have never drove either one.

IMO the C6 w/ z-51 handing package feels a bit disconected to me on the road thru some nice turns. I have about 30 trackdays in my old 01 Z06 which feels more connected. The new owner of my 01 Z06 sold his 2005 C6 w/ z51 to buy my car. But lucky for me I still get to turn a few laps in her from time to time.

I polished the wheels for him yesterday.

The wheels are uncoated Aluminum and are made by CCW.

I used a Mothers Powerball and BUSCH SUPER SHINE ALUMINUM POLISH

I tried a little of the Mothers billet polish, but like using the busch liquid better.

I used a small towel and wiped it onto the section of the wheel I was doing.

I have a 2 speed dewalt cordless so I used the low speed to work it in. Once it was worked in I fisnished at the higher speed.

left is done and right is not:

The owner should send me some full car shots this evening.

I'm disappointed. I was hoping for some engine shots or at least an exhaust clip. something to make me drool even more than I already am!

Its hard to tell anything by looking under the hood. If you do look hard enough you can see the AFR 205 heads.

This car is OMFG loud. With my old Z06 that had headers/borla catback, I could hear his over mine when I was driving mine. I can't think of any sound clips that he has of the car. Will try to get some when we go to Sebring to run with the vipers in a few weeks.

I hope its okay to post these here.

These are some video clips that I took from my car in October 2005 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. I am following the "Beast". He is the pace car for the laps around AMS. He has a track official with him to make sure everything stays safe. It had poured rain the night before and the track was still wet.

The camera is mounted to my grab bar. My windows are up. The sound you hear is the exhaust of the Beast, Not my exhaust. You'll hear the Beast as we exit the pits and accel to get on the track.

Out of the pits and first lap

Last lap and exit to pits
