Yellow RT-10 Viper Detail

This car is a 2001 Dodge Viper which has only 2K miles so its an absolute showroom condition car. I didn't even have to touch the car with the rotary. Car was just sold, so it needed to get bling blinged up for the new owner!

My process:

Washed complete exterior and engine compartment.

Removed wheels and tires

Cleaned tires & wheels.

Polished the wheels with Wicked Metal Polish

Complete interior detail

Used Nylon Spotter solvent to get all the bugs, grease and tar off from the front & bottoms

Hand application of AIO

Hand application of UPP x3 over the course of 2 days

Here are the pics:

Ahhh, good ole Bay State Motorsports. My friend used to date the owners daughter. I believe her name is Mandy if I remember correctly.

Great work...the old skool body style is soooo much better then the new  ...

i love vipers but compared to the GTS i cant stand the boring rear end on thoes. 06 is the best viper ever

Very impressive. I especially like the shot with the 'Vette and the Ferrari in the background...the more the merrier!

Might want to put on one of these before you get close to the paint...

Truly looks amazing! Deep and wet paint and the wheel/tire/well work is outstanding!

Thanks for all the positive comments.

ZaneO, I use Kar Kraft Super Blue Dressing on the tires & wheel wells.

4830Deuce, I agree with you. The old school vipers blow the new ones away.

Pontman43, I'm not sure why they put so many lugs on the car. For high speeds maybe or because they are so damn wide?

Just to add to my comment earlier they actually put the old skool viper tail lights on the new SRT 10 viper coupe...cant beat the caroll shelby design...

The GTS Vipers are simply beautiful Rick. I have never had the pleasure of detailing a Viper but I hope to one day. I actually have been looking online at buying one but the damn C5 Corvette Z06's are such a bargin right now. I might still pony up for the Viper though.

Anyways the car looks stunning buddy!!!
