Yes, and that is why I dropped my ad and went with a simple listing.

I went a step farther and dropped my one line business listing from the yellow pages about 7 years ago. That is about the time I realized that I needed to focus my attention on developing a website and doing more business on the internet.



Although I never had anything larger than a free one line listing, going without an ad in the yellow pages actually helped to weed out all of those price shoppers. After all, there are a lot more reasons to have your car detailed than just trying to get a cheap price.

Frank-I am keeping the listing only through summer to make sure my once a year regulars can get hold of me and I will make sure they have my mobile number and website. This fall I will make a decision on whether or not to go strictly cell phone.
