David Fermani said:Your taking this out of context and using unrealistic numbers here = 100 / 500. There's not a pad that will last that long. So yes, a pad used this many times will be quite a bit different that a pad used once. Ironically, the car's finish will be different too (probably burned off) if you're still using a pad that many times. I've seen some people use a pad a few times and I wouldn't trust even using it on a POS and I've seen some pads used dozens of times and it looked better (and still very useable).
