Ya know this place is great...

Technically, this place has become a second home to me and everyone here is like a member of an extended family.



I have gotten samples of stuff from geekysteve (Z-12 and Porsche Tequipment bug remover) and bretfraz (DACP) and managed to hang out with both of them on two separate occasions. :D
 
Yup, I love Autopia too. Great people. When I was brand new here, somone sent me some Volvo badges. Thanks David for this place and for steering it well.
 
Being an avid automobile lover and a rookie detailer, I too find the generosity of fellow autopians wonderful. I don't contribute much yet as I am still learning. However, I help when I can and hopefully I'll be able to help more as I become more experienced.



There have been countless times when I have cried for help and people here were all to quick to chime in. Poorboy offered to inspect my car when I was having a problem.

This is, one of the best forums that I have found, bar none. A wonderful group of crazed people dedicated to excess in automobile detailing.... my kinda folks!

Lowejackson - Send me an e-mail or PM. I'll hook you up with some stuff as your wedding present (might take a while before it actually gets to you, I get lazy at times and the mailing system on this base is kind of slow if not lacking personnel.) I am also about spend 1500 or so for a new labtop computer (either Gateway (400 series) or Dell (Inspirion series.)



Yaz on this forum might not know it but he'll be getting a surprise for Christmas if the darn post office decides to deliver the package(s) Monday.



This forum is great, I have gotten some free samples and to do my part I send some samples out or do some trades. With so much product I have for a 18 year old, I lose track of some of them (except for my Klasse, Zaino, Souveran, and stuff like that.)

I'm a bit late in saying this, but I really like it here too. Autopia really is unlike any other online community. With some other forums there are heirarchies, sub-groups, cliques and competitiveness between members. Flame wars and arguements are always around the corner.



Not here. Moderators are vigilant but fair. Newbies who may ask a silly question now and then are rarely ridiculed or flamed. There is very little chest-thumping and competition - no one ever brags about how he can wax a car better than everyone else! :p When I told a friend, who is more well-travelled on the internet than I am, about this place and how people were, he was actually wierded out by the friendliness of it all. :D



I've also received goods from members here - some paid for, some not (thanks guys! :xyxthumbs ), all great and worry-free experiences. More than that of course, is the vast amount of knowledge that I have learned, and will continue to learn from everyone here.



You need great people to make up a great community. :wavey
