Y2K TA and LOTS of Meg's products!

1 Clean WS6

Detailing Rottweiler
Hello All!!!

Though not a client's car..it's my own...I'd thought I post some pics of her! She's a 2000 WS6 Trans Am that I bought new in November of 1999. I drove her everyday for two years before I started my own detailing business and bought a truck. She has a touch over 21.5K on the odometer and now serves duty as a weekend warrior or a rolling billboard for my business at car shows. Until I found this site I used Meg's products exclusively on everything from my personal vehicles to my customer's vehicles...now I have a shelf full of Klasse AIO & SG, P21S GEPC and wax, Clearkote VM & CMW, Pinnacle Paste Glaz and Paint Cleansing Lotion.....damn this site!!!!:angry Anyway...the WS6 has a coat of Meg's #81 Hand Polish, NXTx2, and a topper of #16 on it in these pics. I will soon be trying some Clearkote products on it in the future.

As far as the TA itself....it has a TON of mods including CNC ported LS1 heads, a Thunder Racing camshaft (which is small by the standards of cams they have out now...my top end package is almost 3 years old) and lots and lots of bolt on's!! The rims in these pics are the factory rims that came on the TA that I had powder coated black and fitted with BFG Drag Radials out back. The rims in my avatar I break out for the show season and are discontinued (for F-body fitment anyway) chrome Borbet Type T's.

Let me know what you think of the "other woman" in my life...at least that's what my wife calls her!!:nixweiss

Enjoy,

Mike

Realy nice car,but i realy don,t like black rims.

It looks like a hoover craft :D

I meen, you can,t even see the rims on the picture

My best at the strip has been a 12.4 @ 114mph. With that trap speed the car should run high 11's...but I just can't "drive it like you hate it"...which is the only way to run REALLY fast.

LAST one!!:p

I can't tell you all enough how much I love this site!! ALL of the 4th Generation F-body forums are DOMINATED by Zaino Zealots...it's a pleasure to find a group of folks that enjoy immaculate cars and that are not beholden to a single product line.:D

About the black rims, I think they look good on some cars, and they look good up close, but I dont like how they look at regular viewing distances in most cases. I think the reasoning behind this is I like clean cars. Im used to seeing cars with brake dust filled rims all over town. The cars with black rims just look like they havent been cleaned in a while. And I think thats why I dont like black rims too much. That just my opinion....

That's why when I show the car I put the chrome rims on it!!

I like the F-Body cars alot. A true muscle car look. :up Not much prefference for black wheels. Reminds of a winter set of wheels, cop car or batmobile. just my opinion.:)

#81/NXT x 2/#16 looks like a pretty good combo on your car. Did you notice the 'wetness' #16 adds to NXT?

Without question Scott!! In fact...I was kind of leery of topping the NXT with anything as I was very happy with the results after the second coat. When I saw your pics of the NXT/#16 combo I went out in the garage (at 1:00am)...pulled the cover off the TA and applied a coat of #16. It added an even deeper "wet-look" to the car and made the reflections have almost a "hard" tone to them...it was as close to having a black paint mirror finish look to it as silver could allow. THANKS for the idea!!:xyxthumbs

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE COMPLIMENTS!!

rathi60..those ARE my winter/drag strip wheels!! The chrome rims in my avatar are its standard rolling stock for the show (spring/summer) season.

With the show wheels (this is actually the pic on my business card...that's why the background has been blurred)....

I couldn't agree with you more & you have a gorgeous car. :up

Thank you all!!!:D

Terry I saw in your gallery that you have a GMMG chambered system on your car...mine has one too!! Best sounding f-bod system out there IMHO. I worked there from September 2001 to October 2002 doing detail work before leaving to start my own business.

I really think the GMMG system is the best.....I'm sure you get tons of compliments on the look of your car.....but the sound wows them.:xyxthumbs
