Ok so I'm all for the home brewed recipes for problem solving -but keeping my LC pads clean was driving me nuts- I've read a 100 threads and tried everything (except throw them in the ol Kenmore washer, which I won't do)
Anyway, my biggest complaint is that I could never get the original feeling of the pad back (isn't a new pad the greatest?!) no matter what method I tried -Dawn, megs APC, soaking in a bucket overnight with micro rejuvenate etc etc.
So finally last week when XMT pad cleaner was on sale buy 1 get 1 at auto geek- I decided to give a dedicated pad cleaner a whirl.
HUGE difference.
Not only did the polish come out instantly (mostly op II by the way)
but after they dried- they felt just like a freshly opened pack of LC CCS!
plus I needed very little product- So I get the impression my 2 bottles at 12.99 should last a long time.
Off topic but worth noting:
The free XMT 180 wax AG was giving (with orders $ 95 +) is great too -
Have not tried the xmt 360 but so far so good on the XMT line.
(Note: I had low expectations because their packaging looked a little cheapish to me...) <---- I'm all for the simple/minimal packaging, after all, it's what is on the inside that the makers should focus on.
