Xmt 360?

Given the BOGO deal at AG right now, I had expected a few more comments about this product.
Has it had that little use or is it just that none of you users have anything to say about it?
 
I here lots of mixes reviews about this product. Im still waiting to test out the Poli-Seal I have.

Most of the negative comments I have read about the XMT 360 seem to be related to incorrect use, primarily, using too much of the product.
It would be good to hear from some members that have actually used the product.

You are probably going to like the Poli-Seal. Instead of just buffing off the residue, try removing it with Optimum Spray Wax or Duragloss Aqua Wax. Polished and waxed in basically one step. :)
Following it with Opti- Seal works good, too. Nice product.
 
Yes, you are correct Charles, some folks use too much product and don't brake it down properly. I use it once from a sample i got and it was OK to me, but i like poli-seal better IMO
 
I have XMT 360 and it works great. That said, I prefer PB PwS. Not to say XMT 360 is not good, because it is!

I actually got really good results from XMT 360. It resolved problems that I would never have thought it could sort out. I'm thinking that a lot of the damage was just in the oxidation and was sorted out as soon as that was removed from the surface, but it was still a really impressive product. Here are some of the better examples I got off an Audi A4 last year. This is the one I've got youtube videos out there of. It was sort of an experiment with recording certian processes. Too many people were giving me feedback that I was going to fast with the PC or whatever, but the whole point was to show how quickly this product actually gets results. You don't have to wait for it to break down like a compound, so zipping around on the panel is actually ok to do. As you can see, the results are what matters. I'm not going to spend twenty minutes polishing a panel when the job is done after three minutes.

Don't worry about the license plates in the pictures. The car was sold and the plates decomissioned shortly after these pictures. :)

I'm definitely a fan of XMT 360. I still use it on a regular basis when 2/3rds of a detail is really all that is needed. Like when I'm detailing a neighbor's white car as a favor and I don't want to spend six hours with compounding, pre-wax, and then sealant. XMT 360 is a great AIO product that has the ability to remove fine swirls, oxidation, and leave a great shine.

When the license plate is in plain view when a vehicle is being driven, why are people so concerned when it is in plain view in a photo? :confused:

The car definitely looks good.
The XMT 360 did a better job on the swirls than I would have expected with a RO polisher. Do you feel it removed them, filled them or a little of both?
 
It's hard to say. I didn't wipe down the surface with alcohol or anything afterwards, but my opinion is that someone using a one step product like this isn't really concerned about actually removing the swirls. They would be content to fill them temporarily in exchange for a great shine. It would be a great base product for a show car already in good shape, but might stand to benefit from a light polish/cleaning to remove some waterspots or bird bomb etching. It would be a great base for a real sealant like Wolfgang or something else that sets off whatever color you are working on.
 
On a side note... I hadn't noticed that the XMT 360 was on sale yet. I just popped over and bought a couple. :) That stuff really does come in handy when the goal is just to put a quick shine on a car without spending all day on it. All of the XMT products are absolutely great in my opinion. It is worth it to have them all.
 
I've used the XMT 360 and I think it is a very good product. Thats a great price. Makes me wonder if a new formula is about to come out.

The difference in the before and after picture of the engine is hardly noticeable :bow
