After detailing their red thunderbird for the first tome they were so impressed that they left their father's Jaguar to be detailed for an early father's day gift/ Car was left over night and thank god it was. I decided to do the interior last night to save time tomorrow, it ended up taking 3 hours lots of towels and 3 MCME. It was filthy, the white interior looked tan and the carpets needed to be extracted. I went to work through the night and ended at 12. Went to bed and started at 7 today, returned the car at 12 so their father could get lunch. The paint was in need of some heavy duty polishing but had to cut short last lest steps. Was going to go SSR1 then RMG, but had to combine it to SFP.

Lookin good, Beason. Did you polish the rims too or just A2Z them?

Ps. That FX tire shine really looks great, I might have to try it. I'm using BnB right now, and I miss using Reflections.

Looks good!

Were you able to get the black off the interior leather door handle. I've tried everything I can think of to get mine off but nothing seems to work.

Very nice. That white leather really didn't look white anymore, very nice clean up. I bet they were thrilled.

Excellent work on the Jag! Looks NEW now.

Not to hijack, but I take care of a 2005 version with the same color interior. To me the interior looks very very cheap for an expensive car like that. Would you agree?

I was able to get most of it off, but the really dark parts your seeing is where the leather is so worn down that its to the base now. There were some spots including on the steering wheel where this was occuring.

There were some parts I did not like. But I loved the feel of the seats and the material they used to wrap the inside was very nice. However I belive they used too much wood, radio could of been better designed and storage areas I was not a fan of.

For being able to pick up at the store, its very nice. I wanted to polish the wheels, but time wasn't permitting.

Great work!

That interior came out mint! Can you comment more on the leather cleaner and carpet shampoo?

Only thing I would suggest is to clean the insides of the rims with a spoke brush. I used to not, but when they are clean, the whole package looks a ton better.

I did clean the inside of the rimes, the lighting is just bad to see it. But also they weren't much to look out, old tire balances left deep scratches and left over residue that wouldnt budge.

As for the carpet I used the method you suggested but with Castrol Super Cleaner dilluted 10:1. Got most the dirt out and completely extracted with hot water twice to ensure that I got all the cleaner out. I wish the pic didnt turn out so blurry the difference was night and day. As for the leather cleaner I started first with the tried and true method of a small brush and woolite 6:1, but it was going slow and some spots were budging. So I tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (original) with plain water and a clean towel to wipe off the dirt and literaly with one or two passes it got the hard stuff out that the woolite and brush didnt touch. I followed up with a woolite 10:1 on a MF to wipe down the leather finished up with Autoglym Leather Conditioner (trying to use last of it up to order some Zaino Leather in a Bottle) The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is incredible, I wish I took pics of the steering wheel, one swip and it was light tan on one side and dark on the other. Only down side I see is each bar is about a dollar which isnt bad, but considering how long a 5 dollar bottle of Woolite lasts, I stick with woolite until there are stains that require more power. I do want to say that the MCME see to be alot faster then brush and bottle, but u need to have clean water to rinse the bar off ever so often and the bar needs to be kept damp, not soaked and not dry. Only downside is that after awhile it will just dissenegrate and you will need a new bar. I also tried a suggest method to use Woolite and a MCME together, it did a great job for the first three swipes then the bar became to "hard" and was like rubbing sand paper across the leather and was very hard to wash out with water. Wow that was a long response, sorry.

Very

Awesome transformation. That interior came out great.

The RMG would be aawesome on that color if you had the chance. But, it certainly doesn't detract from the end result.

Good job :) :up

I too gotta check out the MCME. Nifty little thing.
