Hi

Please pardon my ignorance.

I'm using WW MF towel to dry my car and I use it dry.

Should it be use dry or wet and wring first to dry a car?

Thanks.

Use it dry, you will be surprised at how much water it will hold. Wring it out when it gets saturated, or switch to a fresh one.

If your WW isn't the softest in the world, you might find it adivsable to use it a little damp (but not so damp as to leave any water behind). WIth something like a BBT, I squeegee the windows and use the BBT to finish the job on them. *Then* I use it on the paint. The little bit of moisture from the windows softens it up a bit.

I use my WW's dry. When they start leaving microbeads of water behind I switch to a new dry one. I hardly use my WW's anymore though. I use an electric leaf blower and then follow up with a QD wipedown (which I would do anyways even if i dired by towel). I only really use my WW's on customer's cars that don't have any beading present.

Use them dry, or just spray them with a fine mist if you want. One of the main advantages of a WW over a chamois, is that you don't have to soak it with water first in order for it to work.
