You may want to try a different line of polishes before you give up. DACP can be a tad fussy for new users. There are several other product lines such as Poorboys, 1Z, and Menzerna among many others that may work better for you.

Personally I'd recommend the 3M line of PI III RC (rubbing compound pn: 05933) followed by PI III MG (machine glaze pn: 05937 ), both are very easy to use and many think they get much better results with these than DACP. You should be able to find these on-line or at a paint supply store in your area.

I agree, don't give-up so quickly.

I can't comment on your product choices (never used them) but I had great luck with SSR2.5, VM, and EX-P first time out & now I'm always in search of better .... in search of more shine, more depth, more lower balances in my savings account.

Give the Poorboy's products a try, they're designed to suit the needs of the weekend hobbiest looking for a better shine as well as the detailing profesional.

Call or email Steve (Poorboy), he'll offer good advice.
