WTB: Meguiar's Ultimate Wipes (micro-fiber)

Even though you can't buy these anymore, there are several identical/similar towels still for sale, although not in the white color.

EDIT: Oops, one of them is white.

A quick google search shows Meg's Ultimate Wipes still available through Autogeek, SuperiorCarCare, SJDiscountTools, Amazon and a host of other places. I've never used them though, whats so special about them?

Thank you for pointers. I have never used them but had one in hand yesterday and it was leaving me with impression of being very high quality so I wanted to try them.

Which ones you have in mind?

Lessee...first and foremost, the Sonus Der Wunder Polishing Towel and The Perfect Shine Polishing & Cleaning Towel. Also, Excel Edgeless, Microfibertech Edgeless, PakShak Ultra-Edgeless, and probably a few more I forgot.

Thank you! I haven't had a chance to see any of them so I will add them to my "early Xmas wish list". In the meantime I definitely want to have some Ultimate Wipes.

See I forgot one, the Poorboy's Work Towel. Last time I got some they were similar to the others I mentioned. In the old days the Work Towel was different, and was the best towel I ever used for glass.

Be sure to browse the site. They have a number of Meguiar's products plus a whole bunch of cool items. Free shipping with a total purchase of $99.00 or more.

to anyone who orders from there ^, you may want to find out first if they are the edgeless ones (the front of the package has a hole in the left bottom corner), OR the old ones with the outer black border stitching (they're both different mf's as well). judging by the picture of the package, it looks like the very first ones that megs made with the outer black border stitching...

What's the difference? I assume edgeless ("newer") ones are better but if you could shed more light on it that would be appreciated.

Those are the ones I had in my hand. Do you happen to know was part # still same or we would be able to distinguish them based on part #?
