Sweet looking ride and pretty decent finish after using "consumer" level products. Again, this proves the adage of Autopia, it's 90% preparation and 10% product! :)

How you likin' that ECU reflash? I was going to pick up the AccessPort rather than send in my ECU, and now COBB has delayed release :(

I might just have to drive a rental car for a day and get the reflash done. Soon. Yo quiero torque.

Tort

the accessECU brought my car to life, all the stuff i read about how great uppipe and downpipe would be was all hype... did nothing for my car till the ecu... the power is so smooth, and the car pulls till redline unlike stock dropping off by 6k...

best 500 bucks ive ever spent..

car looks great cookies!...remember that what matters more is technique over product...

BTW...why did you (and Tort) go with the Cobb AccessECU over the ECUTek?...price?...availability?...both have access to be tuned by the user...just curious...

although i do all my own work i currently have no desire to try and tune my car myself... And the closest tuner (turboXs) is 2.5 hours away... so for now cobb was the way to go for me... and the price cant be beat...

kg/cm²,

Price and convenience for me. I have a standalone fuel computer on my Talon if I want to get get heavy into tuning; the WRX is my daily ride. I just want a little more reliable power . . . with the adaptivity of the stock ECU, the reflash seemed like the best choice. And I'm choosing COBB over ECUTek mostly for price, and because COBB has a long history and good reputation when it comes to modding Subies.

I really wish the AccessPort hadn't been delayed . . . I'd hoped to be enjoying extra horsepower by now :(

Tort

Great job on the detail! Hey, Meguiars makes excellent products! Try some Meg's #7 and then top it with #26 yellow wax. You should like the results!:xyxthumbs

I'm one of few who haven't jumped on the WRX/AWD sport-compact bandwagon, but that is one fine car.

I can't imagine how it would look with a coat of S100.

Their paint must be unwordly from the factory?!

actually the paint takes alot of work... it chips very easily and needs to be polished and waxed alot... but when its done it looks so pretty

Hey Baked cookies,

Nice Rex.:up

I have the Stoptech 14' 355 mm 4 Wheel Big Brake kit on my 03 M5. I went with the black calipers and Slotted rotars as I track my Beast.

Did you remove the Stoptech logo off the calipers? Mine have it on all four calipers.

I got mine from Dave Zeckhausen at Zeckhausen racing in the states.

Regards form down under.

Thanks for the props on my car, I too plan to track this car, as i did my last car.. My stoptech kit came direct from them and had black calipers, I had the calipers painted with red enamel and new stoptech logos made which have not arrived yet..

Makes me want to trade up my Integra GS-R for some AWD turbo action. Definately one of the sleekest cars I have ever seen...it deserves nothing but the finest...autopia was the right place to come :D
