most rotary in the USA use a standard 5/8" thread

so it should be universal

but why?

I don't see the point of it

and looks hard to control

i was just thinking for recessed area, like body kits?

i did an accord this weekend that had a body kit with numerous curves that were very hard to get at with just a regular 4" and backing plate

Wow, to be quite honest, this is pretty funny.

I was

A) Using a spot pad

B) It was 35F out

C) You try that and make it look any better.

D) Wasnt pushing down hard at all, just looks that way.

I posted that vid to be critiqued. If you would like, I can provide refrences of people that have watched me the run the rotary with no problems. The circumstances that day as well as the spot pad caused this vid to come out this way.

To the people that supported me, thanks.

AND that was the first and last time I ever use that extension. Most awkward thing in the world.

for the record, i didnt make fun of you. i just inquired about the extension. would you say it would work well for small, hard to reach areas?

oh and im sure no one meant to make fun you. after managing people for 16 years, i have learned most peoples critiques come off as "making fun" of you because we dont know you and its in writing. i mean you interpret what we write based on how you feel and think we're saying it. if we were in person im sure it would sound more as criticism

than mocking.

I didnt say you were, and about the extension, it is not somthing I would reccomend at all. I thought it would be a great idea, but in the end, it wasnt what it looked like it would be.
