would you buy this halogen light stand?

Go for it. The bulbs are available anywhere, so it's not gonna be a problem in the future.

I paid more for mine but it seems to be the same. I think it was a good deal for me. It seems that it is a better deal for you. I know that I use mine everytime that a vehicle is in the garage.

high wattage halogens are invaluable in low light situations and for marring spotting. I use mine all the time. I would go for it. I mean really, for 10 bucks.. who wouldn't?

Sounds like a great deal..BUT...they also have all the Long Haul line discounted and that is hard to pass up.

I paid $19.99 for just the twin halogen part of that package. To get the flourescent and clamp lights for another ten bucks seems pretty decent to me, plus you've got the gift card, so........ahhh, just get the thing. You know you want it!
