Would you be interested in Regional Forums?

I voted no only because I'm concerned that adding additional forums would make it more difficult to find the stuff I'm really interested in. I've seen another board add this feature recently and IMO it produces more "noise" you have to filter thru to try to find the topics that interest you.



Given the limitations in the current Autopia search engine, adding more forums to try to search thru is not an improvement for the way I use the board.

One complaint I have heard from several Autopians is that other online detailing communities have too many forums; that they are "splintered", and I would have to agree.

i'm in rochester, n.y. i wouldn't mind meeting up in syracuse or buffalo. or within a 200 mile radius. how about it you new yorkers? any comments?

I see most of the members who voted "No" did so because they feel that it would be harder to find info they want.



Regional forums pertain to local meets, and discussing local events. Noone is going to pst a general question in the regional forums. If you're really that worried, use the search button



IMO, it's about time for the regional forums. "YES!"

My only down thought on this regionalism is that the poor ol' N.W. is a lot sparser and spread out than the N.E.,S.E, and S.W., Except Texas which is a continent in itself !Thats the downside, many miles to a regional meet. I have time constraints which would make going to a meet a real challenge , time wise.:sosad





Regional Forums, on Autopia they are cool.... At least the people in the N.W. forum would have all the same weather problems....:xyxthumbs
