Would PC improve a new car finish?

I just tried the Pinnacle kit (hand waxing with Souveran). I am wondering if the use of a pc would improve the finish or just speed up the process. The Souveran is very easy to apply and remove.

Thanks for any ideas.

Well, your going to get better results no matter what product your using, with the exception, i guess of anything non-cleaning....Some cleaners require temperatures to assist in breaking down the abrasives...

Thanx Patrick: I was looking for justification for the pc. My wife's Pathfinder (8 yrs old..150/k on the meter) could use a good detailing with the pc. I wash/wax her vehicle frequently. Yeah...that's it...honey, I got the pc for YOU! :D

IMO you'll probably get better results from claying a new finish than polishing unless there are swirls and blemishes in the paint.

claying is something I'm a total dummy about. Guess I should do some research about that before I do it.

Thanks

I think you could have a big improvement in your new paint. My car is 3 month old. It had 2 miles when I bought and it is my daily ride (close to 4000 miles now).

I read other postings about polish and If I remember right polish is the one that gives you the shine.
