I first heard about Zaino on this forum just before taking delivery on my new 2001 BMW 330i. The thing that sold me was that Detailking has a car just like mine and the results that I saw were breathtaking to me alone.
I wanted something right off the bat that would do a good job. I also wanted something that would last longer then a wax based product. I give high makes to Z-1, Z-2, Z-6, Z-16, Z-7 and both leather care products. That is just about all of the products. I however am not impressed with Z-5 or the glass polish. There are better things on the market.
In my experiance the Zaino did not work well on my wife's Toyota 4Runner. Go figure. So since it's a bigger area to protect I've gone a different route and I like the results. I also needed to use a rotary buffer to remove all the swirls and scratches I, myself put into the finish.
I guess I'm bummed out that I have to send money via "snail mail" across country, but that's how it has to be. My local distributor is a putz and has not returned any calls in two months! Oh well.
Question: "How much popcorn can you hold in a closed fist?" Answer: "None"
Question: "How much popcorn can you hold if you open your hands and put them together?"
Answer: "A lot!"
The point, I need to be willing to keep an open mind and I'll benifit from that. If I shut my mind to new things I'll never learn or enjoy. Same thing with detailing a car, or truck. I need to keep my mind open and I'll reap the rewards.
Also I need to be able to say "Man my head was up my butthole on that one!" That way I can maintain some level of objectivity.
