That shows you how difficult it can be to remove. I hate hate shopping carts =/

That is really not that difficult a dent! I know for a fact that the glue dent puller will get that out.

No its a crease type dent.

I bought one of those, used it on my mothers Neon and it was crap. Jus leaves glue residue...

Hey guys, I had PDR work done on the vechile. Does anyone know if PDR work sometimes leaves buff marks?

I have not tried removing them with polish or anything but at this point I am PISSED_

And they also have equipment that leaves suction cup marks on the paint, they probably wiped them off.

If the dent came out, just hit it with the PC and be thrilled.

the dent did Not come out fully. its is much less noticeable tho.

If the buff marks do not come off I will take it back to the shop and have them at least make the door look clean.

I will be taking photos since the car will be up For Sale.

it is why i have been so stressed about this, I might now have to spend $$ on getting body work done to it, we'll see how the market sees it...

If you plan on having it detailed, I would leave them alone about it. If the dent removal isn't to your satisfaction then that's a different story.

Dont take it back to the same shop to get the buff marks out. If they knew what they were doing, the buff marks wouldnt be there in the first place. Do it yourself or seek a good detailer in SoCal. Theres plenty on these boards.

thanks for the replies. I have talked to a couple ppl about PDR and they said it was too much a crease or indention to fully get it out. I will try some more and see how is wiling to try.

And yeah I have to do more research.. Id really like to save some money but will not risk the quality/outcome of the work.

Does anyone in the SoCal area have any good experiences with some shops? If so which ones? Thanks_

Some of the good ones will guarantee that you're satisfied or they won't charge you. That way they'll usually be honest about whether they can do it without it being noticeable. Even if they can't make it 100%, they can often times get it to at least 95%. The cost is typically $75.00 per panel in my area and if you have a connection as low as $50.00. At that cost, it might very well be something you can live with for the time being and then later on get the panel repainted if not satisfied completely. I used PDR on my black Mustang GT and it came out perfect.

Good luck.

I do some of my own detailing J-D Detailing Associates_ :]

BUT all I did was clean it well and used Meguiars Polish (didnt have too much time for clay bar, wax, etc) and it looks good enough to go on autotrader.com dont you think??

I know its not the same shot but it doesnt look great and it doesnt look bad, the PDR work however is More noticable in person.

I do not know if I should take it back to them, I dont want them leaving more buff marks on the vehicle...
