Is anyone else impressed with the sheeting effects of Blackfire? I have had Blackfire on my vehicle for three weeks. While rinsing it down after washing I was amazed that the water still rolls off the hood and the sides of the car, leaving very few spots and making the car easier to dry off.

I find if you can towel dry the car after the sheeting is done and drive it around 65 mph for three minutes all the water in the crack will come out... then QD and start your normal detail routine..

It's great, isn't it! We've had rain here the last two days, so I'm anxious to wash the car tomorrow and see how the BF is holding up. :up



I can say that the rain water didn't stay on the car very long! Get up to about 45 mph, and the beads gather together and run lemming-like over the edge.

"A neat phenomenon I noticed last week: the entire hood (vette pretty much the whole front end) held a sheet of water after rinsing with the nozzle off. It had that shimmering YS use to have as part of his VW's picture. Gave real meaning to the wet look. When I picked up the hood to see if it would run off it didn't."



I actually find it makes drying longer, so I am finding I do not prefer it.

Does anyone know how long Blackfire lasts in comparrison to Klasse? Also, just for my knowledge, is Blackfire of creme like consistancy? Unlike Klasse which is watery. Thanks.

Jury is still out on the durability of BF, for me.



It's a creamy consistancy, slight blueish tint on my mf apps.

I don't know about the durability just yet, but I can say it is the best shine I have seen yet on a car. I have about 5 coats on the Mustang and just washed it with Z7 and QD with Blackfire QD. the depth is incredible! Still super slick too. But this is the first wash since laying on 3 more layers of BF. The shine and slickness seemed to diminish a bit with only two layers, and I am going to use Z7 instead of the Blackfire wash just to see if that makes any difference.

This belongs to the father of a friend of mine. For his birthday she wanted to have me do a light correction detail on his workhorse... this old ford ranger. Its always carrying tools, never gets washed, definitely a beast of burden! It was a pretty straightforward correction. M205 on the PCXP with LC orange then sealed with Zaino Z5pro. This was just a 1 step, so there's RIDS and some swirls left, but still cleaned up nice. The wheels were nearly permanently stained and only cleaned up a little. Polished the chrome bumpers too.

I was there to deliver it to him on his birthday and he was totally speechless and gave me a big hug. Probably one of the most appreciative customers I've ever had. This guy works so hard for his family and NEVER asks for anything in the 5 years I've known him. He was truly taken aback. It may be a modest detail, but it was one I will treasure for a long time.

Wow that work truck looks great for a 1 step. Everyone should be happy with the out come. M205 sometimes is over shadowed by M105 but I have been very pleased with M205 on some of the jobs that I have done. Great work
