WOOT! I got my logo!

A fellow board member and I have been working rigorously on a logo for my side business I plan on starting this spring.



Well after a few months or so of design and tinkering, I finally got my design!



I plan on using this for my website, flyers, vinyl window decal, etc. etc.



Let me know what you all think. Please be critical and think if anything should be altered or what not.

This was my third design with the 3rd person trying it. I don't have photoshop and can not draw/design at all. So with someone else doing it on their own time, it takes some time to get perfect.



I've thought about doing a heart around it but decided it would look to cheesy.
 
I think it looks pretty good overall. Very simple, but good on the eyes. The only thing I would suggest is trying to make the black/red oval more sharp & rounded. I'm sure with PS, your friend could make it look sharper & shinier. More of a 3D look to it...you know what I mean?

I don't think the heart would look cheesy. It would be a good logo where people could relate to you and the heart. Gives people something to remember you easier. You even come up with a slogan like, "Hart Detailing...we love your car."

What business card do you think looks best? The ones with my actual logo in would be $5 more because of the upload. I'm really liking the fist one.

I am in the printing business and I always like the heavier stock business cards. Do not print it yourself on your laser printer. Make it as heavy a stock as you can afford. Your local print shop will have samples.

I agree with previoius comments about the heart logo. Use your name "Hart" and use the image of a heart to your advantage. Use the heart image with your name Hart over-laying the heart image.

It's going to be printed on 80 lb. stock paper. I'm also going to get the gloss versions. $30 for 250 or $41 for 500 for right now.
