Woolite Question For Scottwax.

I bet you could substitute generic detergent for delicates too, and not just Woolite exclusively? :nixweiss

Early 90's Cadillacs leather care tag specifically recommended Woolite, now they just say to use a mild soap.

Interesting, thanks Scott. Too bad I have a bunch of leather cleaner already. :p

I might try your Woolite tip for cleaning vinyl and plastic on an upcoming job though (sudders).

Alright, its raining outside but I have to try the Woolite tip, don't know why. Its not raining inside the car so why not? LOL.

So its 1 part Woolite to 6 parts water, how's it work on wood trim Scott? I take it I'll have to follow up on the trim after claning the dash?

It is safe for wood trim, but I'd follow with a damp cloth then a dry cloth to make sure no residue is left behind.

It Works Great! On leather and vinyl interior.

Thanks for the tip Scott.

Maybe someone can help this problem. I get these little tar specs on the top of my doors on the beige vinyl. There are probably from the power windows scraping little pepper size things from the lower window weatherstripping gasket.

I can not get them off with the Woolite or Simple Green or Vinylex.

Any suggestions?

thx

Try dabbing a little Goo Gone on the specks. Rinse when you are done. If anything will take them off, Goo Gone will. Most grocery stores should carry it.
