Wool pads and paint burning...

I think a couple of pros use Dawn to wash their pads.



I mean I wouldn't make long term soaking (more than a few hours) a habbit. When I use my pads, I'll usually just throw them in the snappy pad bucket and leave them until I'm completely done with the detail. So that means soaking them for several hours. The only exception is if I find that I need to use one of the pads in the bucket, then I'll take it out, massage the polish out, rinse, spin, then re-use.
 
Sweet thanks for the awesome tips once again Superbee and Nica. I thought you were saying not to make a habit of cleaning your pads with water!



Since I dont have a spur, I will just have to rinse the pad out every few panels until I get a spur to use.
