Wool Pad=Fast break down???

I hate how slow SMR or FI-II breaks down, but love the results. (I'm sure I'm alone in that sentiment) Anyway I'm wondering if I use a wool pad, will the products break down any fast than with the white or yellow pads. In David B's video he uses a wool pad with good results.
 
Might help a small bit, but not much. If your using a PC it's not going to breakdown quickly because the PC does not create much heat.
