Wolfgang on the Audi (no 56K)

Finally got a couple of hours to spend on my own car for a change the other day so I thought that I'd play with some of my Autogeek giveaway items that I recieved. (thanks Autogeek!)

About a month ago it got a single coat of UPP and another coat 3 weeks prior to that. I didn't have enough time to do any polishing this is simply wash, dry and a coat of Wolfgang DGPS applied with a finishing pad and PC. I was pleasantly suprised with this product, Very easy on and off just as many of the other sealants that I use. It's tough to evaluate the look of Wolfgang alone as there's still some UPP on the car BUT I really like the look from what I can tell at this point. Seems very deep for a sealant and less reflective than the UPP or Zaino that the car has been wearing in the past.

Sorry for the lack of Lighting in the pictures...sunlight has been pretty sparce in Ohio lately.

p.s. I suppose I should change my screen name to AudiOn15's for the winter huh?

He has 15" winter rims/tires on, bud.

Nice look on black, Audi.

While I'm at it...cleaned up the BMW this weekend too and the Zaino is still going strong. This car got Zaino Z5 x 2 and Z2 x 3 back in the end of October and still beading like it was done yesterday. Gets washed and QD's with Z6 at least once a week. This car is my wife's daily driver and sits outside at her work all day every day but is in the garage at night. Pictures are even worse of the BMW...again sorry for the crappy pictures.

I'll throw in one of the latest mod for the Bimmer, a set of Xenon color'd Angle Eyes that I installed saturday night.

No 19's for either car right now :( , can't wait for winter to be over so I can dig them out of the basement.

Thanks for the compliments...even though the old B5 design (96-01) is starting to get dated now...it's still my favorite sedan shape out...although the new Mercedes C-class is also a sexy ride if you ask me.

Front end mods are the following:

E-codes (european factory light housings without amber corners)

5400K Osram Xenon bulbs / phillips ballasts

Kamei sport grille w/ factory rings mounted on it.

Projectzwo lower add on custom molded to the factory bumper

All work done twice as the car was together in this form for 10 days before my wife got hit by an uninsured motorist while driving it.

Why don't you stop spending time & money on car care supplies and get some sod down in your front yard! J/k :D

Love your Audi :up

LOL...didn't move in until the last week in November and there was already snow on the ground so we don't get sod until next year. It actually made me happy as I can spend money on detailing that much longer before I have to go buy a lawn mower.

Both cars look real nice, the black on the Audi perhaps giving an edge to the BMW. Just because its black :)

Having said that the beemer looks great considering its a daily ride, I am very shortly about to apply Zaino to my car, hoping to get a finish similar to those.

Excellent work AudiOn19s

Edit:: looking again at your pics, the Audi looks 'flat' black, ie no mettalic would that be the case ?

looking good!! gotta love german cars..

looks like u got a thing for german cars and lip kits:cool: guess i gotta wait till spring to see the 19's right?

AXE: The wife does a very good job taking care of the BMW as her daily driver. The Audi's a driver too...'99 with almost 120k on the clock now. I'm thinking next summer we will be selling the 325 and moving up to an M3 for her and I'll drive the Audi into the ground.

NavindraLR: What can I say...Both cars are a dream to drive...hopefully the BMW will get better soon with the new suspension in the garage for it (currently has Eibach springs that I hate on it). Audi has 2/3 of a body kit...it's wearing Avantgard sideskirts i just haven't found a rear apron that I like for the car yet. The BMW will have M3 sides, and AC Schnitzer rear on it come spring if I don't decide to unload it for an M3. Here's a couple shots with the 19's from earlier this season before it had the front lip.

montoya: It may be too early to tell but to this point I'm very impressed with Wolfgang. The deep look for a sealant is great and it's been through 3 days of rain and the surface is not showing any signs of durability issues. Again it's on top of UPP so it's tough to give a complete review of Wolfgang alone but I will continue to monitor.

nice..! those two cars look sick... thank god theres no chrome rimmies! id get the m3.. so which one of those cars is the garage queen?:D

the beammer has 19's also? what kind of suspension are you throwing in it? im trying to talk my dad into getting a coilover suspension for his car, probably B&G, or H&R, if either of them make a good coilover kit for bmw :nixweiss

Both live in the garage at night but I suppose the Bimmer is more of a garage queen than the Audi.

Bimmer currently has Eibach pro-kit springs which provided only about a 1/2 in. drop over the stock sport suspension and very little noticable improvement in performance. I've got H&R cupkit suspension (matched springs and shocks), and UUC adjustable sway bars in the garage ready to go on when I get some time this winter. I would have loved to put coils on the car but the wife drew the line on that one as she still has to live with it on a daily basis.
