Wolfgang Fuzion on a couple of BMW's

I managed to get a sample jar of this product at Detail Fest from Max. I got back to Kansas and decided to try it on a couple of BMW's in the shop that were finished previously. Mainly, I was looking for some additional depth to the paint and I wasn't disappointed.



Fuzion applies and removes like Souveran, but leaves a nicer finish IMO...hard to tell from the pics, but there's more depth to the shine.

While it's probably not an "everyday" product for the shop, I'll probably use it on select cars.

Looks terrific; gotta love that anthracite on the BMW!



I've always had silver or gray cars because they always look stunning when they're clean - just like these cars. I went with white this time around. I'm hoping to get it to "pop" like this with some UPGP.

No, I didn't get a chance. I just put a quick coat of Fuzion on the front ends of the vehicles while I was waiting for the dealer to bring me my next Bimmer to recon (02 330 Ci black convertible). It only took a few minutes to do and he even commented on the appearance (which is a good thing).



Maybe I'll do a side-by-side on a car when I get a little time for play.

Okay here's my dilemma. I have been thinking about trying Souveran or Fuzion because my regular wax of choice has been 845 for a while now and I'm told while durable it's not a beauty wax. However, here's a picture I took last weekend and really is either Souveran or Fuzion going to do me any better?

It's an '89 930 not mine but a friends. Just visiting for a detailing.



Mines an '88 but I thought I'd use the '89 since the color was similar to the BMW.

Yep since then I got a new Makita and tried System one on it. Really took out a lot of the defects. This picture was just after I finished her up....

That's looks pretty good for a non beauty wax. FWIW I couldn't tell a difference between S100 and 845. As for the Fuzion, really glossy-looks like a sealant.

Are sealants known for having a more glossy look than carnauba's?
 
First of all Toto you always do a terrific job and I always enjoy your posts. I'm curious and you don't have to answer this question but do you buy the supplies you use at the dealership? If not do you have any influence with the Service Dept on what products to purchase? I guess the question is coming from the viewpoint that it is rare for a dealership to invest in anything above and beyond the minimal required to get the job done.
 
I used to think the magic was in the wax, but I've lately been convinced that it's all in the prep... of course you can usually tell the difference between a sealant and a carnuba quite easily, and it looks great when you top off a sealant with a carnuba, but I'd bet $5 that that Porsche couldn't look much better than it does right now.



I'd recommend something quality (like P21S) that works wonderfully but doesn't break the bank.
