You guys will hate my response. Both of the vehicles I've driven were/are lucky to get washed even once a month. More like every couple of months. Primarily because they are both heavily rusted/clearcoat was basically completely gone on one car.

When I worked at the bodyshop I'd wash the first car (I just recently put the first down and got a different beater) I would wash the car 1-2 times a week.

Being in Michigan with no access to a heated garage with a drain type space really puts a damper on any winter cleanings. I'll wash it more frequently in the winter just to get the corrosive salt off the car, but its still pretty infrequent.

The girlfriends brand new car however is a different story. I've been washing that every week. Need to pull it into the garage and give it a good light polish/sealant/wax setup though before the weather gets too cold.

Even though I don't wash my own stuff frequently.. If I had access to a garage with good lighting, floor drain, and underbody sprayers.. Omg.. I'd probably wash/wax damn near every other day. I love the smell of natty's and soap :)

I own several cars, so once and sometimes twice a week, as for being in a Detailing Business its important to maintain your personal vehicles.

I try and remember to wash mine once a week, but it ends being more like every two. My cars stays in the climate controlled underground parking at my apartment. I don't have hose access so I am limited to ONR washes, but it works nicely because I can do it at all hours of the night.

My car is silver, the paint has never been corrected by me in the year I've had it, so I'm not always as diligent with my detailing duties as I should be. Not to mention both the bumpers were resprayed by the dealership I purchased it from, and they did an absolutely terrible job. Thankfully silver is very forgiving.

My autocross car sits outside under a cover in my parent's driveway. I think I may have washed it once this year, maybe not though. The clear coat is failing all over the entire car, so I don't care for it very much. At some point I'd like to try my hand at wrapping it with vinyl.

I washed my car on Sunday and yesterday it started to rain when I left for work. I got home and washed it again around 10 PM.

Once a week would be my standard answer. However, I usually only wash it after it's been out in bad weather or looks too dirty to hit it with a CA car duster and/or detailing spray and microfiber towels.

Usually twice a week with ONR and then a 2 bucket wash maybe every four to six weeks so I can really clean the wheels, tires and wheel wells.

I don't drive it in the rain unless I get caught out. I have a truck for the foul weather days and it gets a 2 bucket each week.

I've been trying to coax the weather gods into giving us some snow; I've been washing my car about every two days for the last couple of weeks. So far they haven't noticed. :(
